Summit & Fundsport Join Forces

The Summit Centre are delighted to announce they have joined forces with local company Fundsport UK.

The Leisure Centre has a whole host of facilities open to the local and wider community which haven’t been accessed as much as the centre would have liked in recent times. So with the help of Fundsport to act as Marketing Managers – the centre should become the thriving leisure access point that the whole community would embrace.

Fundsport will commence their work with immediate effect. A variety of funding schemes are being targeted to try and bring in exciting and engaging activities to the centre.

The Jeremy Kyle Show

We’ve been hosting celebrities down at the Summit Centre...yes that’s right, Jeremy Kyle was here shooting his show for ITV. Everyone go to meet him and Jo Pepper and Kay Appleby were lucky enough to have their photos took with him.....so keep an eye out for the centre appearing on his show in the near future.

 

Mansfield 103.2

The Summit Centre has been running radio adverts on Mansfield 103.2 to promote the centre and shout about its amazing facilities. This will continue to advertise future events being held here.......so keep listening.

 

Dance Extravaganza Day

The Summit Centre hosted a Dance Extravaganza event in April in celebration of International Day of Dance. With Fundsport’s professional dance instructors teaching Ballroom, Latin American and Jive to name a few, the event had a great turnout.

Jo Pepper, the new marketing face of the Summit Centre added ‘‘the day was a brilliant, filled with lots of fun and laughter. It was good to have a chat with new faces and see people enjoying themselves while dancing.

It was great to see the Summit Centre being used to its potential and accessed by the community, which should hopefully be the start of re engaging Kirkby back with a great centre. The day was the start of some great events and programmes to come here, showing the community that the doors at the Summit Centre are always open to them.''

 

Brand New 3G Surface MUGA

Our Multi Use Games Area has been fitted with a brand new 3^rd Generation Surface funded by WREN.  The MUGA is open to anyone wishing to book and use this state of the art surface. Check it out on our Sports & Facilities page.
